Roofers, Thatch

Thatched roofs are made of dry vegetation arranged so as to shed water. This style is growing in popularity in North America for outdoor structures such as pavilions, but also for homes. Synthetic thatch is also available. In addition, although not truly thatch, steam-bent cedar shingles may be used to recreate the general look of thatch. This type of shingled roof is sometimes called a cedar shingle thatch roof.
